Principally photographs of Native American jewelry and metalwork, artists' portraits, and images used in publications and ephemera associated with the exhibition. The exhibit and catalogue by Diana Pardue. Object photography by Craig Smith. The exhibition emphasizes changes in Native American jewelry during the second half of the twentieth century "as artists challenge the boundaries of traditional metalwork ... by creating groundbreaking works that showcase non traditional materials, unique designs, and innovative techniques" (catalog, p. 6). Charles Loloma, Preston Monongye, and Kenneth Begay are highlighted as artists whose work is at the forefront of this movement.
